I began at Contemporary Landscape at the age of 15 shoveling snow part time while still in school.I also began working a few different jobs during high school- baling hay,hog farm, local farms and I even sold Rainbow cleaning machines for about 6 months (fun but not for me). I started at Contemporary in August of 1992 walking a 48" walk-behind mower up and down highway 44 from the Meramec River Bridge to Bowles Ave and learning the landscape side of the company during the winter months for years to come. After a few years of being a crew member and I worked myself up to the position of crew leader, after a few years of that I was promoted to Operations manager to oversee all of our lawn care and maintenance operations while still having my own crew to run on a daily basis while assisting with the overall operations of the company.After 10 years of lawn crew, I moved on to Pesticide applicator performing all of our liquid and granular turf and plant application while remaining Operations manager of all of our lawn and landscape maintenance accounts and began to learn irrigation as well. Today my position is Director of Operations and I have 3 Operations managers that support me everyday to keep our company moving forward safely and effectively in every aspect. We continue to grow as a company in leaps and bounds, as with life in general time moves fast one day and slow the next, then when you stop to think we have came a long way personally and professionally and the sky is the limit. My goal for the future is to continue to educate myself and our employees to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.
