In my role as Senior Art Director at Sikich, I juggled a large variety of projects for middle market B2B and B2C clients in a wide range of industries. I took an active role in the entire project cycle, contributing to strategic brainstorming sessions, through conceptual design and into final production. I worked both directly with clients as well as in conjunction with our account executives. My experience and skill cover a wide range of applications. Every project begins with getting a holistic understanding of the client’s strengths, weaknesses, competition and culture. I take the time to understand each client’s vision and path, where they were, are and plan on going in the future. Whether it be creating a logo for a startup, planning the structural foundation of a website or coming up with a new packaging line for a convenience store snack, each is approached with thoughtfulness and purpose. In addition, outside of client work, I also have the unique experience of working in-house, collaborating with the internal marketing team for Sikich on projects such as Annual Reports, advertising, brochures and sell sheets, eBooks and more.My range of experience includes logo design, branding, print and digital communications, ui/ux, advertising, trade show marketing, art direction, illustration and photo retouching.

I freelance because I love design and I love to help small businesses! Most of my freelance work consists of companies that are either just starting out or operate with a singular or minimal staff. As Art Director at Icon Digital Design, I worked on a variety of B2B and B2C middle market accounts, including but not limited to clients in manufacturing, professional services, catalog retail, foodservice and more. Projects included logo and identity, print collateral, illustration and web design. I worked with print vendors to coordinate production, art directed photo shoots, and collaborated with Creative Directors and other team members for certain larger projects such as corporate rebrands and campaigns.

As Senior Graphic Designer at The Tradeshow Network, I designed predominantly for print and environmental graphics, within the trade show industry. As part of my role, I worked with clients to create stunning exhibit graphics, as well as with marketing strategists on executing design for extensive trade show campaigns; this includes brochures, email marketing, advertising and more. I also initiated a system for archiving client work and worked directly with the Marketing Director to establish guidelines for the design through production process. In addition, I aided in hiring and then managing a junior designer, which included overseeing the overall design direction of assigned projects.
