I still clearly remember the day when I was shown the power of great hospitality. The concept of recognizing your guest and making them feel appreciated, while serving them great food and beverages, although simple, takes significant effort and talent. For over 20 years, I’ve been helping people engage in that hospitality. I have managed a variety of restaurants, from James Beard Award winning sushi, to polished casual California cuisine, to a prize winning brewery. I have opened, closed, and integrated restaurants to maintain a successful and profitable organization. All of this while ensuring a strong and supportive environment in order to create a strong culture.When I’m not working, I love attending live music events, traveling, and supporting my industry through food and wine.
