Mobile QA Engineer for Credit Sesame Inc.This project is based on San Francisco, California but the team is distributed in several cities in the US and with members in India, Peru, Colombia and Costa Rica, we use an Agile Software Development Methodology such as SCRUM, My responsibilities in this project are: Test case analysis, design and execution, defect reporting and verification, testing in different platforms such as Android, iOS and Web Browsers, high communication between development teams, product owners and designers to help modeling requirements, user experience and also provide solutions to the project, understanding and helping the compliance team to satisfy the providers standards. My major contribution to this project was to provide the mobile team with recommendations in test case design, testing tools and strategies, increasing the value of the product, also, I’ve been working with the designers and product team, providing new ideas on business logic and user experience, as well as delivering high quality software in every sprint.I was appointed as interim Mobile Development Leader for 4 months while a new Mobile Manager Engineer was hired, during that time I was able to maintain the current speed of the project and support the communication between the Development and Product teams, even after the position was filled I still share part of his responsibilities, mainly with the LATAM Team helping with estimations, requirements grooming, user stories definition, among other tasks.In addition to that, I’m responsible for the entire Mobile QA Team (4 people) and the Mobile Releases as a Release Manager.During this time, I’m gaining proficiency in technologies such as SCRUM, Mobile Testing on Android and iOS Smartphones, tools such as TestLink, Charles, JIRA, Mixpanel, Optimizely, Miro (Realtimeboard), Braze, and activities such as Push Notifications and Deeplink Testing, Accessibility Testing, A/B Testing, among others.
