About Daryl Sadgrove

I am a senior leader who is passionate about growing and transforming businesses. I started my career as a scientist and health professional who transitioned into business. After founding a successful healthcare startup, I went on to become the CEO of an international healthcare association and then an exec in the finance industry. The latter part of my career has been shaped by senior exec roles in large corporates, namely Telstra and Australia Post, where I led substantial commercial growth and innovation. I then contributed to transforming Melbourne Polytechnic, a large Victorian Government owned education provider, to become the large Training Provider of the year in 2024. My current role is the Chief Operations Officer at Callida Consulting, a highly respected mid-tier government consulting firm in Canberra. Here my aim is to create the conditions for our teams to do the best work of their lives. Throughout my career I have led teams over 100FTE, budgets over $132 million and been responsible for a wide range of complex and high value initiatives. I have achieved large scale measurable impact in every role, and have done so with high levels of team engagement and stakeholder support. I am known for my ability to unite people around a compelling vision of the future, align people across functions and silos, and for inspiring teams to think and act differently. From a personal perspective I am an endurance runner and also love coaching others to achieve their running goals. In my spare time I can be found in the outdoors with my wife and two boys.
