-Managed the formal program of instruction for the Marine Corps’ entry level Maintenance Management Course over a two year period. This course was consistently recognized by seniors as the best managed course throughout Logistics Operations School. -Directed the activities of seven other formal school instructors in regards to the entry level course. -Supervised the preparation and delivery of instruction, development and presentation of lessons, administration of written and performance evaluations, and utilization of effective classroom management techniques. -Used technical knowledge and experience to assist in the development of the new instruction, demonstration, and practical application scenarios in regards to the Marine Corps’ logistics information system, Oracle ebusiness suite, GCSS-MC.

-Managed the induction, tracking, and reporting of all equipment within the maintenance cycle for a $52 million unit account. -Supervised all maintenance management programs for Combat Logistics Regiment 3 and two subordinate battalions. -Developed policy to effectively manage personnel in the areas of supply chain management, inventory control of pre-established parts counts, and the accountability of on-hand tools. -Ensured the scheduling, induction and tracking of preventive maintenance of equipment and ensured the calibration of tools was properly conducted and documented. -Conducted detailed inspections on maintenance sections within the organization to ensure the adherence to policy and procedures. -Unit was one of the first in the Marine Corps to transition to the newly fielded GCSS-MC asset visibility logistics information system provided by Oracle, and played an integral role in the implementation process. Participated in working groups with fellow military logisticians and Oracle personnel before, during and after the implementation process leading to a smooth cutover to GCSS-MC. -Created and conducted training in all areas of maintenance management. Provided training to various maintenance personnel on the functionality of GCSS-MC leading to a smooth transition to newly fielded program

-Formally trained in professional selling skills. -Conducted various speeches regarding enlistment in the Marine Corps at local high schools and colleges. -Screened thousands of applicants to determine enlistment eligibility. Conducted one on one interviews with hundreds of applicants to sell the applicant on Marine Corps opportunities.-Conducted background checks, facilitated medical exams, testing, and prepared and maintained all required documents for applicants during the enlistment process. -Personally responsible for the enlistment of (69) applicants into the Marine Corps during this time frame. -Served as a mentor in order to develop enlisted applicants mentally and physically for the rigors of Marine Corps Recruit Training.-Performed duties as Assistant Recruiting Sub-Station Commander, trained and assisted new recruiters as well as acted as the Sub-Station Commander in his absence.
