I am a Company Commander for a 90 Soldier Forward Support Company which provides direct multifunctional logistical support to an Infantry Battalion consisting of 750 Soldiers. I ensure dedicated Field Maintenance, Distribution and Food Service support in order to integrate comprehensive sustainment throughout all wartime operations and training events across the Pacific Area of Operation. Throughout my tenure in command I have supported and participated in combined arms collective training across multiple Hawaiian Islands as well as at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Louisiana, supported strategic level security cooperation partnered training within Thailand, the Republic of Korea, and the Philippines as well as trained and prepared my company for any wartime or contingency operation.

I provide daily logistical support management for 148 different munitions accounts valued in excess of $386 million, while serving as the primary munitions advisor to the 25th Sustainment Brigade Commander and the Support Operations Officer. Under my supervision my office determines munitions requirements for supported units, manages supply capabilities and conducts materiel management across the Pacific while proactively serving as a liaison with the US Army-Hawaii, and US Army Pacific Command for munitions support throughout the Pacific.

I am an Operations Officer within the Support Operations section of a rapidly deployable, Air Assault Infantry Brigade Combat Team. I am Directly responsible for Unified Land operations sustainment and medical support for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT). My additional responsibilities include planning, coordinating and executing all internal operations of the 526th Brigade Support Battalion which consists of a headquarters, distribution, maintenance and medical company. I Monitor and identify all support requirements for my Brigade Combat Team (approx 3500 people) and am directly responsible for coordinating with higher Echelons to enhance support for brigade operations.

Afghanistan

Executive Officer for a multifunctional Forward Support Company for the 1st Squadron 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XIII. I am responsible for the material management, operational readiness, health and welfare of 7 NCOs and 24 Soldiers, ensuring successful execution of all combat missions. I am responsible for the accountability and serviceability of over seven million dollars worth of vehicles and equipment. I Plan, resource, and coordinate all transportation, maintenance, food service, fuel requirements and maintain all ammunition to support three Troops, consisting of 231 people, during wartime operations. I perform all duties of the Troop Commander in his absence.

I am the Platoon Leader for 24 personnel within a Forward Support Company for the 1st Squadron 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), while forward deployed to Afghanistan and in garrison. Responsible for the combat readiness, training, health, welfare and maintenance of all Soldiers ensuring readiness for successful deployment to a combat theater and to execute wartime missions. Responsibilities include more than $6 million worth of equipment, tactical and combat readiness, the distribution of fuel, ammunition, and the transportation of the 516 personnel of the Squadron’s two Cavalry Troops, Recon Infantry Troop, Head Quarters Troop and Support Troop. Lead by personal example, establish a positive command environment that inspires all personnel to complete their mission. Assist the Squadron with the integration and synchronization of logistics in all aspects of planning and operations. On order, conduct full spectrum operations. Additional duties include Troop Unit Movement Officer, Voting Assistance Officer, and Environmental Officer.

Fort Campbell

Squadron Maintenance Officer for the 1st Squadron 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), while both forward deployed to Afghanistan and in garrison. Responsible for more than $6 million worth of equipment, and the operational readiness of five Troops and three attachments to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and recovery operations. Manage over 1000 lines of CL IX repair parts worth in excess of $2 million. Assist the Squadron with the integration and synchronization of maintenance in all aspects of planning and operations. Responsible for the combat readiness, training, health and welfare of 46 Soldiers. Additional duties include Platoon Leader, Troop Unit Movement Officer, Voting Assistance Officer, and Environmental Quality Officer.
