David C. Dobson, Ph.D., has returned to the management team at Integrated Science Solutions Inc. (ISSi) as President of the company, effective in May of 2014. Dr. Dobson was a co-founder of ISSi in 1999, and served as Executive Vice President until 2009. ISSi provides environmental and geotechnical analysis, project management, strategic planning, environmental regulatory compliance, and community outreach services to public and private clients, primarily focused on federal government agencies. Dr. Dobson is a geoscientist and Project Management Professional with extensive technical and program management experience supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Navy, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and other clients on complex environmental, hazardous and nuclear waste management, and regulatory compliance projects. With DOE, Dr. Dobson has served in numerous project and program management roles for the high level waste disposal program at Yucca Mountain, and for the environmental restoration program at the Hanford site. He has directed surface-based, laboratory, and underground site and facility characterization studies, the analysis and modeling of site and system performance, the evaluation of compliance with environmental and nuclear waste disposal regulations, and the documentation of results in comprehensive reports to meet regulatory requirements.

Founding co-owner and manager of NRSS, LLC, providing science, engineering and regulatory services to the nuclear industry, with a particular emphasis on nuclear waste management and the cleanup and closure of contaminated sites.
