New position in company looking for an expert in business improvement. The mandate of the role is to, “Improve our business through providing expertise in analysis and business process redesign.” Work closely with Senior Managers to provide business analysis in all areas of the company including sales, inventory and software validity. Perform ISO audits, through supporting the use of outside resources, and present findings to the company President.• Proficient in designing and creating meaningful current and end state processes through a team approach which includes Senior Management and the President. • Research and implement solutions of issues that arise from internal and external audits to help develop the Quality Management System.• Designed a new warehouse management ERP module, to replace existing manual method, to hold all inventory locations and location characteristics for use when adding or moving products in the warehouse thus saving time and work in finding new locations.• Create business summary and detail reports to address key business concerns by researching the issue, interviewing, and gathering data for use in statistical analysis to derive at possible solutions or outcomes.• Able to lead and participated in corrective action teams to determine root causes, using root cause analysis, to develop solutions for the process owners and implement approved corrective actions.

New position in head office that required strong project management and analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Oversaw development and implementation of global solutions. Worked with divisions to roll out companywide software. Created documentation, process flows and project forms where none existed at all. Took lead on project management and worked with programmers to resolve issues and enhancements in order to meet deadlines. In May 2006, received promotion from Senior Systems Analyst to IT Application Development Supervisor. My team and I were responsible for the day to day activities for the molding division, which included, troubleshooting, shop floor integration, ERP, and computer systems for 350+ users. Accountable for quarterly performance reviews, project management, priority resource scheduling and support. Attended daily managers meeting and presented statuses on current projects, daily activities and priority changes.• Execute strategy and business planning with an efficient approach through staff direction and scheduling.• Became proficient in overseeing day-to-day operations and projects through regular staff meetings with emphasis on project updates. • Lead requirements gathering in analyzing systems effectiveness and efficiency thus developing strategies for upgrades, redesigns and/or new systems based on business goals.• Created an effective project priority worksheet to track IT projects with emphasis on priority, due date and status which shortened project timelines and completed projects before the actual due date.• Interfaced ERP system into backend database resulting in bridging the information into single reports and web portals thus removing data duplication and data silos.• Successfully project managed new RIM moulding MES process to gather data from machines and touch screens into new SQL backend database.

In January 1997, received promotion from Programmer Analyst to Senior Systems Analyst. Took lead in all systems projects from programming to computer hardware. Worked with vendors to receive best pricing on all hardware while coming in below budget and with better equipment. Provided long range capacity planning of enterprise applications and operating systems, database management and data networks.• Successfully implemented a replacement ERP system which encompassed the entire plant from receiving to shipping including the office totaling 300+ users with the lead focus on EDI and bar coding.• Oversaw the re-design of the shop floor system into a SQL database which includes interfacing various equipment, such as, touch screens for scrap, labour and downtime reporting systems and ERP.• Develop detailed business requirements and translate into solution specifications while involving the end-user and business owners throughout the development lifecycle.• Experienced in creating various end-user documentation including training manuals, user manuals, flow charts and process flow diagrams which reduced IT support calls.• Continually negotiating vendor contracts and managing customers and suppliers for all types of IT projects while tracking costs associated with each and finding ways to reduce costs.• Successfully implemented SAN technology with servers and backup system to reduce IT maintenance and downtime thus saving money on upgrades by using technology more efficiently. • Developed, implemented and tested DRP solutions for all IT aspects of a 24/7 manufacturing company with emphasis on the customer. State of the art, world class moulding division which utilizes IT technology as one of their strengths and contributes to its success. Maintained the MES system that used a real-time database to gather production, machine and robot data. Enhanced machine recipes and storing them for use in machine/mould setups has drastically reduced the setup time. Troubleshoot touch screens that were networked to a server that was used to collect part and downtime information then sent to the backend database for reporting. Using my programming skills developed at university I was successful in enhancing the current systems in order to meet the business and IT goals.• Created and maintained interfaces for new shop floor equipment including moulding machines and robots into backend SetCim Database using the C language.• Project managed new touch screen system for new process line from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through documentation, implementation, quality review and enhancement.• Maintained and enhanced current shop floor data collection and reporting systems.• As part of the MRP implementation team, my roles were to setup and test the UNIX hardware and also interface the production data into the MRP system.•Created IT work instructions, system documentation, and end-user manuals.
