Subsumed in the advertising, marketing and web industries for nearly three decades, my experience is layered with deep flavours from varied sources: advertising, sales strategy, media production, web development, and most recently, contemporary art writing. Building with the mind wasn't enough, however. Further developments in culinary creation resulted in a Diplome de Patisserie from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu - London. From there, the studio of Dave The Cake, French Pastry connects classical tastes with modern lifestyles resulting in fine pastry for all walks of life. Visual communication has always been at the heart of my work, and pastry design provides a formidable new medium in which to exhibit boundless creativity.But wait, there's more...at present I've had to focus my efforts as Director of Operations for our startup creative agency, called The Mighty Shed. The business is split between two continents, so pastry is on the back burner at the moment, simmering slowly. Fortunately my situation does provide an environment where I can share creative thinking with analytical skills.
