ACE services include mechanical engineering, CNC services and manufacturing process assessment, but services are currently focused on data acquisition, storage and analytics. We represent several law firms and act as a data broker between those firms and the State to which they report.

Assess and recommend actions to optimize business intelligence and processes, specifically those processes reliant on data. Devise and implement enterprise-wide, scalable solutions to address data acquisition, processing, storage and reporting.

Contract Advanced Open Water Instructor running 1-2 classes per month. 2011-2014, facility manager for Hydrostatic Test Division. This division was operating as an unlicensed test facility in violation of D.O.T. regulations prior to my hire and I was able to directly negotiate reinstatement of the facility license and negation of fines in excess of $100,000. I developed and submitted a corrective action which was approved by DOT, which reduced fines to under $2,000 and reinstated out facility license. A significant portion of the corrective action consisted of creating a data collection system to maintain test data and facilitate reporting to the D.O.T..Introduced data analytics focused on sales, instructor performance, service metrics and general business KPI

Sourced, implemented and administered ERP solutions and engineering support software. SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM administrator. I was the principal on 3 ERP implementation projects. I administered and developed the QAD ERP system used until Cummins acquired the company. A major project I managed involved converting all internal SKU's from an intelligent item number to a non-sequential SKU that standardized all product lines, increased efficiency, leveraged volume purchases and decreased errors.I developed a SKU generator that would allot blocks of SKU's to engineers, removing the bottleneck associated with SKU creation.

Assisted with transition from file based records to digital, on demand file retrieval for medical and other document intensive industries. Research and implementation of emerging technology to facilitate transfer, storage, recall and analytics of critical records.

Managed all aspects of PCB business. Transitioned from paper office to computers. Converted all CNC programs from punched mylar tape to digital. Developed a CAD/CAM software to read, edit and write CNC files. The software converted digital information used by drills and routers to a graphical format that could be manipulated on a PC as opposed to the traditional text editor for editing the somewhat cryptic GCODE.

Rogue Valley Circuits was a state of the art multilayer printed circuit board manufacturer that catered to military contractors. I dealt directly with contractors on matters related to digital security compliance. Developed an automated backup system using Xenix OS and script utility.

Primary accomplishment was development of database and front end application to manage recipe files for electroplate line that replaced a paper based file system.

Started as a fabricator before promotion to lead. Moved to engineering and converted existing teletype with a 'modern' PC which increased production by 80% and reduced timeshare expenses by 90%. Managed inventory acquisition for purchased hardware store and transitioned from paper to computer for entire inventory. Setup and maintained one of the first POS systems in the valley.

Medford-Grants Pass Area

Started part time and took over the service department the first year. In addition to servicing all SCUBA related gear, I did retails sales, inventory control, ordering, instruction and led trips.
