With in-house design and manufacturing, we have complete control over the entire process for our exhaust systems and components. Understanding our customers’ requirements and detailed specification is key to us developing the optimal final design. From the initial enquiry, we work closely with our customers, listening and advising until everyone is satisfied that the design is agreed, and budget requirement can be met within the project timescale. The priorities of the owner, ship yard, yacht manager and designers are considered along with the system installation and operational requirements; anticipated engine running hours and the Classification Society demands are all important inputs during this consultation stage to ensure they are all understood and met as the final specification and design emerges. From this consultation we develop a timescale, a project plan, and a design brief for the required system.Following on from the consultation stage we begin to build the detailed system layout and the design of all associated components. We continue to liaise closely with the customer as questions emerge during this phase, be they engine related or vessel layout and systems considerations. Agreement of the initial system layout is a key gateway in the process – a plan to which all parties commit and one which enables development of a specification against which the system design can be finalised, approved, and manufactured. Leadership of the UK Aftermarket business including a national service branch network and associated parts operation delivering workshop and field service support, parts and replacement engines to a significant customer base in the; automotive, marine, power generation, defence, oil & gas, materials handling, construction, mining and agriculture markets.Key Responsibilities:Translate long-term business strategy into actionable short to medium-term goals.Profit and loss and asset utilisation responsibility to achieve the annual operating plan.Management of multiple functions including service operations, sales, warranty and technical support.Achieve / exceed KPI targets for the organisation to maximise service and sales performance plus customer satisfaction and loyalty.Responsible for full channel management including the UK branch network plus the identification, set-up and management of the national dealer network providing extended market specific support to the customer base. Management of Cummins UK Marine engine and generator business unit for new equipment sales and aftermarket support covering the UK and Ireland.Profit and loss responsibility to achieve the annual operating plan.Set strategic approach to sales with development and implementation of sales objectives, strategies and promotional programs.Responsible for channel management working with the UK branch network plus the identification, set-up and management of a marine dealer network providing local, high visibility support to the customer base.Develop new value products and package solutions aligned to current and future customer needs.Work with and provide support to the wider European marine business.

Management of the Equipment Sales, Aftermarket and Technical departments. OEM, dealer and end-user account management. Responsibility for the implementation, set-up and management of a dealer network.Management of the engineering and service departments developing new products and providing support to meet current and future customer needs.
