Responsible for creating new opportunities, partnerships and markets for AliveCor personal ECG devices and technology.  Created a new type of ECG for bicycles and exercise bikes building the electrodes within the handlebar. This application allows users to monitor their cardiac performance through any cardio activity.  Worked with the Government of India and software partners to deploy devices to rural India. Started the hospital trials at AIIMS (Rishikesh) with fifty devices deployed at the hospital.  Issued patent: US20240147150A1 Digital Stethoscope Abstract: A digital stethoscope includes a housing defining a housing edge where several microphones are assembled. The digital stethoscope also includes a surface region secured to the stethoscope housing at the housing edge, and several microphones. The digital stethoscope also includes a processing device in communication with the microphones. The processing device receives the digital audio data from the microphones and uses AI algorithms to compare to training data for determinations ranging from heart, gastric and lung sounds.

 Responsible for developing new verticals for Alexa Voice Services. Innovated a bicycle computer with Alexa Built In using Android OS on a MediaTek SOC. Lead the technology development for integrating wind noise reduction algorithms for outdoor use. The product was launched during CES 2019 and was selected as one of the top ten most innovative products. Set up manufacturing and distribution relationships with major bicycle manufacturers in China and brands such as Haro, XDS and Flying Pigeon. Worked with a solutions provider in China for developing the BT technology necessary for tethering with mobile phones and access Alexa cloud services. This allows users access message, phone calls, shopping lists and maps hands free.  Also launched several other “World’s first Alexa enabled” products such as Ear Buds, Wine Cooler, Pressure Cooker, Motorcycle Helmet, Treadmill, etc.

Developed the business plan for launching a set of Amazon backed mobile phones in India under the 10. OR brand. Developed the necessary business relationships with ODM partners in China as well as with Amazon.in. Successfully launched three models and achieved sales of 1.5 million units in one Diwali season. Lead the team to develop Alexa application on a mobile phone for the first time allowing voice access to frequently used commands and phone functions.

ALTIERRE CORP, SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA Industry: Wireless Electronic Shelf Tags
 - Internet Of Things (IOT)Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing Joined Altierre as Director of Operations and was promoted to VP position on achieving initial goals and accomplishing product roll out through fast track manufacturing. Hired and developed the operations team consisting of Production Planning, Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing engineering, Test engineering and Quality Control. Responsibilities: • New Product Introduction: Wholly responsible for introducing an end-to-end Electronic Shelf Label solution to top tier retail stores in the US. The system consists of proprietary Server, Access Points and Display modules. Operations responsibilities have been to manufacture Access Points, Reliability testing and integration with RF data flow process. Client modules are ultra low power battery powered RF modules with an LCD display. 
• Operations Management: Production control functions including BOM development, Cost Modeling and Management, Managing the Industrial Design Team, Prototype development, Test Engineering, Quality Control, Specification development, Document control and Transfer to production. 
• Manufacturing and supply Chain Management: Selecting suppliers for IC manufacturing, Display manufacturing, Custom Battery development and final assembly of Box Build involving metal parts, PCBA and plastic housings. Setting up contract manufacturer in China with monthly capacity of up to 3 Million units.

Wholly responsible for day-to-day operations including Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Quality Control, Budgeting, Revenue Forecasting and order fulfillment for five product lines with 100K+ unit shipments per month to top tier customers. (IBM Lenovo, Intermec). Also responsible for bringing a set of new WiFi and GPS products to market using SIP (System-In-Package) manufacturing technology. Specific responsibilities include developing supplier relationships with Tier-1 IC assembly houses, manufacturing planning including prototype manufacturing, specifications, test systems and fixture development and production ramp. Key Accomplishments • Organized and implemented the transition of operations and manufacturing without interruption to customers as the company spun off from parent company. 
• Designed and implemented operational systems (e.g. Procurement, weekly production planning, quality control, ROHS compliance) for five product lines with over 100K shipments per month. 
• Achieved 100% on time delivery from less than sixty percent by streamlining customer demands with factory capacity and allocation plans. 
• Developed world class supply chain for manufacturing SIP (System In Package) radio modules involving companies such as Amkor, SIIX Corp etc.

Customers were Cartoon Networks, Adobe Systems, Panasonic, Long Tale, Disney Studios (India), Omron and Di-Nippon. Key accomplishments• Raised $5 Million investment• Built the studio in Chennai, India with 300 animators, artists and modelers.• Acquired customers and delivered products on time and on cost.• Company was acquired by Accel Animation Studios.

ZOWIE ENTERTAINMENT, SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA Industry: Consumer electronics – Video game/Toy Platform.
Held total responsibility for all aspects of operations from startup stage to mass production of a set of Smart Toys. Specific responsibilities includes supply chain selection, Management for ASIC device manufacturing (Wafer foundry, Assembly and test), Plastics, PCB assembly, RF Antenna and RFTAG manufacture, Final product assembly, Packaging, Shipping, Import and Distribution to major retailers in the US.

Managed the manufacturing and development alliances for a PC Camera based video game platform. Set up the manufacturing process for a CMOS image sensor toy camera with manufacturers.

Managed the Purchasing, Contract manufacturing and Facilities management functions. Responsibilities includes all aspects of  Purchasing management including direct materials such as silicon wafer Assembly and test services, capital equipment procurement Development and procurement of Load Boards, Probe Cards and test boards PCB assemblies and box build of programming hardware facilities management including building lease,  campus development, construction management,  security and communication infrastructure.  Built a class 1000 test facility for ATE testers, probe stations, programming robots and HEPA systems.
