As the Executive Director of the Missouri School Public Relations Association (MOSPRA), I assist with all Board matters; oversee day-to-day operations; coordinate all membership matters, work with committee chairs to coordinate conferences and other special association operations; work with vendors and sponsors; and develop and maintain web and social media layout and content.As the Director of Communications for the Missouri Association of School Administrators, I am responsible for regular communiques with membership, publications, providing communication workshops and support for members, and working with the media and other educational entities. I am the point person for developing and executing the yearly spring conference.As the owner of Luther Communications, LLC, I assist school districts and other organizations with special communications and public relations matters. Luther Communications conducts research including focus groups and key stakeholder interviews. Public speaking services include the following topics: good communications practices; media relations; relationship building; the power of messages and story-telling; and the vital nature of mentoring.
