As a Senior Technical Leader, I create value by directing all aspects of software development, field sales engineering, and strategic technical management while creating solutions that meet the complex business and security needs of national and global leaders in public and private sectors. I am currently serving as a specialist solutions architect at Databricks, the data and AI company. I leverage my expertise in Spark, Hadoop, AWS, and other cloud technologies to help customers build and scale their data and machine learning solutions while supporting the sales team in delivering value propositions and product demonstrations. In the last two years, I have designed innovative solutions and customer interfaces that meet the unique needs of our clients while the company has tripled in size. Previously, I led the development and launch of new SaaS products for Hortonworks prior to their acquisition by Cloudera. I also managed the integration and modernization of Cloud and SaaS offerings post-merger for clients in heavily regulated industries. Earlier, I worked as a Computer Scientist and Senior Technologist for the FBI, finding ways to improve and expedite their development process while maintaining security protocols.Additionally, I have served as a PMC member and Committer of Apache Metron, an open source platform for cybersecurity analytics and response. I contributed to the design, development, testing, and documentation of the project as well as community building efforts.
