I am committed to bridge building based on truth and social solidarity, and showing how responsible citizens, businesses and foundations can make reparations to help heal our communities and improve Black Americans’ opportunities for wealth-building pursuitsI was Founder of BeHOME (Berkeley Housing Opportunities for Municipal Employees), a community based project that supported the creation of work force housing for city employees. This project shared a major role in the successful establishment of 110 units of educator housing in Berkeley. I have served in various capacities at numerous community organizations.
