The service estimator will prepare and enter proposals into our estimating program along with all pertinent/required information, send proposals to customers via email or post them on a customer’s web application or decline estimates as directed by management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Have a comprehensive understanding of estimating procedures, necessary job provisions and customer proposal requirements. • Field customer calls/emails requesting proposal revisions and receive approval from management to alter or adjust. • Develop a good working relationship with all customers, all area service technicians and all area service managers, learning their specific vendors and job challenges which will allow the estimator to adjust accordingly.• Uphold account requirements by following customer AR data and referring to sales associates, dispatch or accounting when appropriate or necessary.• Provide clear and concise information within the proposal database creating a bridge between the customer, service coordinator and service technician. • Other tasks as assigned.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong Data Entry skills, strong communication skills, strong problem solving skills, understand verbal and written instructions, ability to learn and display adaptability, possess attention to detail and be a team player.
