I am required to work in a number of different positions as part of a team consisting of fifteen staff, engaging with customers and responding to questions they have regarding the services we provide. I have cash handling experience, as I am often asked to operate the tills, and have also completed the end of day cashing up duties, showing that my superiors trust me with sensitive matters. Though I am part of a small team, these tasks are often completed individually, requiring me to be self-sufficient and use my initiative to switch between positions if someone required extra support, or if I noticed we were lacking experience in a certain area.I have been trusted to train new members of staff on duties, which requires patience and a supportive attitude, especially if they struggle to grasp new concepts immediately. We have a focus on up-selling many of our products, requiring the team to use strategic-thinking to promote our new products which customers may be unaware of.

Many of my duties included setting up rooms and buildings for events, moving furniture, and dealing with the destruction of confidential waste. Our team was small (consisting of six men), so I often had to use my initiative to complete individual tasks.
