Canterbury

I developed the theoretical constructs and survey for a multi-site project (Epistemic Insight Initiative) which is running 14 surveys across over 70 schools, 1500 teachers and academic tutors and 5000 students. I also developed the Theory of Change for our project for presentation to funders and the senior management team of the Education faculty and briefed the EI team on how our theoretical approach, intended interventions and measurement strategy held together.I was also responsible for analysing the previous cohorts' data and disseminating these analyses internally.

As Director of Research for Rethink Charity I conduct impact assessment, measurement and evaluation and offer strategic advice across RC's projects (LEAN, SHIC and RC4). As a Senior Researcher at Rethink Priorities, I work on neglected, tractable research questions relevant to cause prioritisation, including (at the moment), work on the psychology of attitudes towards animals, descriptive population ethics and wild animal welfare.

I have also provided bespoke tuition in literary theory and philosophy for a student preparing to study at Oxford (post-interview).
