Brooklyn Steel is a ~2,000 capacity venue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Here, I work backstage where I help meet the onstage lighting, audio, and visual needs of touring artists from around the world. Backstage staff help to facilitate load-ins, load-outs, and set changeovers in high stress situations with large loads of equipment.

At Twenty Three Grand, I directed the operations of the door team to excel in the setting of a popular, high volume SoHo restaurant. I created daily floor plans in order to maximize the use of the restaurant within serviceable limits, and provided unreasonable hospitality as it fit to each individual guest’s experience. On top of this, I used my interest in expanding my food and beverage knowledge to learn and adapt to changes with frequent food tastings and wine/cocktail courses.
