I had responsibility for managing Mr Greatrex's House of Commons office. During this time Mr Greatrex was Shadow Scotland Office Minister and subsequently Shadow Energy Minister. Mr Greatrex led for the Labour Party during the passage of the very complex and detailed Energy Bill. I was responsible for securing positive media coverage of Labour's position.

House Of Lords

I worked part-time for Lord Browne during the passage of the Scotland Bill through the House of Lords, during which time he was the Labour Party's Scotland Spokesman in the Lords. I carried out a number of roles - speech writing, research, drafting Bill amendments, as well as political and media advice.
