Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets. Analyze price proposals and financial reports to determine reasonable prices. Set and recommend mark-up rates and selling prices for merchandise. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and availability. Select product for catalog and ensure pages are laid out correctly. Advise sales on pricing and availability on products as need. Participate in the development of product portfolio, selection of technologies and vendors.
