As a civilian S92A/S61N SAR and Passenger Helicopter Captain/Instructor for the last ten years supported various oil & gas companies. For four years out of past seven supported Shell operations in Barrow, Alaska as the Cougar/VIH Cougar Helicopter SAR Base Manager/Captain. Served as a US Army/US Coast Guard Officer (Lieutenant Commander) retiring in 2003 with over twenty-one years of operational experience as an SAR pilot, instructor/flight examiner and post-maintenance flight-test in helicopters. Over 6700 total flight hours and holder of US/Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licenses. Search & Rescue, shipboard, offshore platform, mountain (Alaska), all weather (icing), heavy external load, NVG, FLIR, rescue hoist, air assault and EMS flight experience. Over three years of Coast Guard Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) experience directing Search & Rescue and various US Homeland Security operations
