Coordinated the Maintenance department's efforts participating in the Performance Improvement Program (Corrective Action) at the site. This position required tracking all Condition Reports (CRs) from initiation to completion, attending the CR screening meetings, and assisting with the disposition/evaluation of CRs. This included performing cause evaluations and training others in the use of the CR process. All groups (Electrical, I&C, Mechanical, Safety, Relay & Control, and Radiation Protection) within Maintenance were my responsibility. This position was created when I was placed in it.

Installed and maintained a network of programmable logic controllers used to control the grinding process on a very sophisticated rail grinding train. Installed and supported a VME based Rail Corrugation Analyzer system on a selfpropelled car which measured waviness of the railhead at speeds of up to 20 MPH.Supported the 3 phase AC electrical and DC systems on the train.
