1995 thru 2004 I ran our farm in Fellsmere, Florida. During this time, I oversaw the planting, care taking, and harvest of our 600 acre green bean program. I also kept track of all farm records, farm budget, work schedules, revised growing programs, and field scouting. In 2004- we decided to shut down our farm in Florida... At this time - I was asked to move to Ohio and take over managing our Ohio farm in Wood County, and manage our contract grower program in Henry County. My responsibilities have remained mostly the same as I had during my time in Florida, however our own farm is only 160 plus acres. The majority of my work revolves around managing the planting, field scouting, harvesting of our contract growers for our summer crop of over 2,000 acres. I also oversee an offseason maintenance program for our farm equipment. New responsibilities since moving to Ohio- include helping revise and administer yearly grower contracts, weekly field inspections with the ODA, yearly field audits for food safety compliance.
