David Thomas is a Senior Vice President | Brokerage of The Retail Connection, L.P. David brings over 16 years experience and is one of TRC’s leaders on the project leasing team, focusing on leasing and consulting of specialty mixed-use, urban, and street retail projects, as well as big box power centers. David has been responsible for complete leasing activities for over 4,000,000 square feet of retail space. David is currently involved in leasing the 950,000 square foot mixed-use center called West 7th, located at West 7th and University in the center of Fort Worth’s cultural district. David’s other leasing assignments include the 650,000 square foot power center called Las Palmas Marketplace in El Paso for De La Vega Development as well as The Mondrian in Uptown Dallas. David also leases Hillcrest Crossing, the Equinox anchored development at Hillcrest and Northwest Hwy. David’s career began as a broker with The Weitzman Group in 1993 where he worked for five years doing primarily project leasing. In 1998, he became the senior development leasing representative for Regency Centers in the Dallas office. In 2002, he served in the same role for Regency in their Los Angeles office until returning to Dallas in the Fall of 2007.
