Mark Zuckerberg.Growing up in an urban environment, I always knew that being able to work with a diverse population people would lead to success. I majored in psychology and minored in world religions to better equip myself with the tools to communicate and appreciate people from all walks of life. I had a natural passion to help, teach and advocate for people that could not do so independently. I began my professional career as a youth counselor and case manager for various age groups. I then completed a graduate degree in Education with the goal to become an adjunct faculty in some capacity in the future. As time went the passion was still present but the scope had changed. I took an interest into Life Sciences and was immediately drawn to Regulatory Affairs. Being in compliance was a way to keep people safe within this rapidly changing scientific world. I envisioned a new career path and was up for the risk to embark on a new journey with different challenges.Five years ago I took a production position in Stains and Dyes while completing online graduate courses at Northeastern University. Building on the skills I learned in production, I was able to transition into a quality role supporting the flavors and fragrance department. In December of 2024, I will achieve my five year goal to complete my Masters degree at Northeastern in Regulatory Affairs, Foods, Drugs, Biologics and Medical Devices.
