Network Operations Manager
CurrentMy role as the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) NOC Manager is to manage and maintain the state-wide ITS devices for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This includes being the point of contact for network outages, troubleshooting and resolving issues, configuring network devices, managing preventive maintenance and change management, interfacing with internal and external support teams, and producing reports. I also manage significant network changes, provide senior level support to NOC operators, monitor the health of ITS devices, and dispatch technicians as needed. Additionally, I am responsible for the operation and sustainability of ITS monitoring stations in the NOC and manage information on service requests and work orders.
