HoodMaster™ is a New Zealand owned and operated manufacturer of low velocity commercial kitchen range hoods and specialists in commercial kitchen gas safety. Our engineers have over 30 years combined experience, in the design and manufacture of low velocity type hoods to the highest European specifications. We sell a range of commercial kitchen gas safety products including the CT1200s and CT1250 Gas Interlock safety panels along with a range of Goldseal gas solenoid valves and CO2 detectors for solid fuel cooking.

Oceania Gas Safety are the nominated distributor for S&S Northern product sales in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands. S&S Northern is a family business based in the UK. S&S Northern is one of the worlds leading designers, manufacturers and suppliers of the latest range of gas safety products including gas interlock systems for use in commercial kitchens. As well as full range of gas pressure proving systems and gas detection systems for school laboratories and boiler houses. With offices in the UK (Manchester & London) USA (Florida) and New Zealand (Auckland) we ensure our products meet all international safety standards

My role supported the Project Company Subsidiary managers to ensure consistent and positive business and customer outcomes from our manufacturing group of 4 companies. Key roles:- To ensure the Project Companies drive a positive H&S culture - Foster positive and effective commercial relationships - Deliver change management and sustainable business growth.- A member of the Southern Hospitality Senior Leadership Team - Part of the Southern Hospitality H&S Steering Committee Key Achievements:- Re-designed marketing material for the Project Group - Improving H&S Culture across all factories - Increasing value proposition of the subsidiaries to the SHL Group

I worked on some of the largest commercial kitchen ventilation projects in NZ and always delivered outstanding results showing year on year growth and profit whilst delivering true value to the customers. Key Achievements:- Designed entire range of products - Achieved SAI Global Certification & Lean manufacturing- Grew the business year on year- Completed Icehouse OMP 44- Introduced the British DW172 hoods standard to NZ and its successful adoption into the industry

Key Roles:- To plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.Key Achievements:- I have surveyed and managed projects from all over the UK and Jersey to the value of over £1.5 million including many prestigious venues such as Edgbaston cricket club and Silverstone race course.

Key Achievements:- Design lead for the re-design/development of the entire range of Britannia Hoods and the on going development of new products.

Key Roles: - Fabrication design work for light gauge stainless steel sheet metal components & assemblies using Solidworks.
