In addition to the responsibilities of a Service Technician listed in my previous positions, I also oversaw five employees. I determined their yearly goals, held reviews, determined performance increases, and also made sure staffing levels were appropriate to provide stellar customer service.I was able to interview and hire one employee.A new phone system was implemented. I made sure each employee was trained on proper use of the new system and worked with IT to correct bugs that showed up. Some employees had been using the old phones for 30 years and moving everyone to a new system was quite challenging.The employees were also moved from exempt to non-exempt. I worked with HR to inform the employees of this change and deal with their concerns.Any problematic machines or situations that the other Technicians could not solve were given to me. I worked with the customers, our engineers, and sales team to try and rectify these situations. One situation resulted in taking a trip to New York with some special circuit boards.
