As someone who loves creating, I’ve often been referred to as a man of many visions. Admittedly, I’m a bit quirky. As a visionary, inventor and the creator of True Fortunes inspirational messages, my passion for life continues with each passing day. My career spans over six decades and includes an array of expertise including designer, marriage and family therapist, hypnotherapist, inventor, marketing executive, mechanical engineer and entrepreneur. My background includes supervising the mechanical design of the rocket engine for Lunar Excursion Module that landed the first astronauts on the moon. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I migrated to California to attend California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech) in Pasadena in 1948, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Years later, I continued my education at the University of Southern California (USC) from which I obtained a Ph. D in mechanical engineering, and much later a Master’s degree in Counselor Education. While at USC, I was a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Scholarship Society. In 1970, I became a Marriage and Family Therapist receiving my degree from USC. I opened a private practice in Beverly Hills, counseling individuals and couples.Feeling the urge to go deeper into my work with private clients, I became a licensed hypnotherapist in order to use hypnotherapy in my practice. This led me to create and produce a series of “Guided Relaxation” audio tapes on subjects like losing weight, relieving stress and stopping smoking, as well as many others. During my employment with this company, which manufacturers dampers and shock absorbers, I invented and patented several products. I also functioned in marketing and sales and was awarded salesman of the year for the United States. I am actively working on new technology to make homes and office buildings safe from earthquakes. I have worked with the Los Angeles City Council on a motion requiring a seismic vulnerability evaluation program for all structures in the city.

I obtained a license from the state of California and began using hypnotherapy in my practice. This led to me creating and producing a series of “Guided Relaxation” audio tapes which I currently market on subjects like losing weight, relieving stress and stopping smoking, as well as many others. The tapes are designed to improve the quality of life for those who utilize them.

Beverly Hills

After receiving my degree from USC, I opened a practice in Beverly Hills and counseled individuals and couples.

I have been an in-demand consultant for various government entities.

Vice President, Science and Technology. Formerly Vice President, Operations; Director of Special Projects, Vice President, Marketing; and Director, Los Angeles Division. Responsible for customer interface on major projects and for project development.

Working in its Space Technology Laboratories Division, I was in charge of all design for the mechanical portions of the LEM engine which was the one that landed astronauts on the moon. I was also responsible for the design of valves, release mechanisms, unique vacuum chambers that simulate space as well as rocket engines. For one project, I flew for three weeks in the Zero Gravity aircraft at Wright Patterson Air Force Base
