    Working as an undergraduate research assistant, I developed a Condition-Based Maintenance algorithm that analyzed vibration signatures in hanger bearings of AH-64 platform helicopters and summarized transient variations in frequency due to shifts in drivetrain rotational and gearbox mesh frequencies. This metric helped categorized failures in terms of unbalance and misalignment. I also helped design a control system, using LabVIEW, for the hydraulic platform of a rotating tail rotor swashplate test stand used to simulate cyclic loading in the AH-64 rotor. I had experience publishing papers and attending technical conferences, culminating applying for and receiving the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
