I have 14+ years of experience advising management and business leaders on venture capital and angel investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities law, and general corporate matters. I have represented public and private companies, as well as venture capital firms, angel investors and private equity funds, in a wide range of financing and M&A transactions. I have experience with initial public offerings, including by special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), and advise public companies in connection with ongoing securities reporting requirements, corporate governance, and various other matters affecting public companies and their officers and directors. I also have advised emerging growth companies and established companies on equity financings, equity-based compensation matters, executive employment arrangements, general business strategy and other corporate governance issues. I have also represented private equity firms in connection with mergers and acquisitions and venture capital firms in connection with portfolio company investments. My work covers various technology-driven industries including software, e-commerce, medical device and pharmaceutical. Many of my transactions involve international and cross-border activities. Prior to joining Tenable, Inc., I was an Associate at Cooley LLP in the Business department and at Bingham McCutchen LLP in their general corporate group. I graduated Boston College Law School (BCLS) in May of 2008. I was attracted to the practice of law because I enjoy working with and advising individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit.
