When organizations are stuck in profit-draining, production ruts…I assemble teams, resources, partnerships, and orchestrate the execution of solutions, tracking financials and watching for cost/time saving opportunities. My strengths are planning, implementation, problem identification, working with teams to deliver, and ultimately doing what I say I will do.THERE IS OFTEN MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SOLVE A PROBLEM…BUT WHICH WAY MAKES THE MOST SENSE? This question stirs something in me. It propels me into action. I strap on my financial hat to scrutinize the numbers and draw on my operations acumen to make the most strategic and balanced decisions to move organizations forward. My brand 🔀 Solving the seemingly “unsolvable” business challenges.Although the vast majority of my contributions have been in the healthcare space, my finance-operations combo can readily benefit diverse industries from aerospace to academia. 🔀 I have an eye for cost savings: Capturing an additional $7-$8M per year simply by studying the analytics and cutting wasted materials at the Wake Forest pharmacy. 🔀 My role as a public speaker has lent new perspectives to financial management, state law, and even how to operationalize process methodology across regional networks. 🔀 I care about people and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty: I literally drove an employee struggling with PTSD to get needed help (weekly), avoiding a near-inevitable termination.🔀 I tend to build the teams that other departments poach from: A humble testament to my leadership…I frequently select and train the most well-rounded and versatile teams who play well in the sandbox with others. When it was time to advance my education, I opted for the MPA as it was more people oriented and a better fit for me. It has also prepared me well for finance, statistics, and equitable decision-making. Originally from a dairy farm in the Midwest (Iowa), I came to AZ for school and ended up staying. Now I travel every chance I get. I especially love the planning, mapping, and itinerary-building aspects of each trip (I love getting to let my organization and logical thinking talents shine). NOTE: I’m also open to work-related travel.Whether process problems that require a solution, or resource planning, establishing metrics, monitoring operational performance, to long-term strategic vision casting…I am here for it all.
