As associate managing editor for American Songwriter magazine's website, I primarily managed our freelance team of writers. Responsibilities included: heavy edits for grammar, punctuation, syntax, and writing style; heavy edits for search engine optimization (SEO); hiring and relieving writers; ideation for and/or approval of all freelance articles; complete overhaul and implementation of internal style guide; customer care correspondence.
