Dee first started her career at Modern Bride Magazine in 1994 in the Fashion & Beauty department as an assistant to the Director where she first encountered the Magazine Industry.After 2 years she was hired as the first Fashion Editor for Latina Magazine Ms. Rivera booked photgraphers, hair & makeup artist and wardrobe stylist. and worked doing Cover Celebrity shoots for Latin Celebrity covers such as Rosie Perez, Jon Secada, Eva La Rue, Jennifer Lopez, Jimmy Smiths, and many more. Ms. Rivera has worked for various other prevalent magazines such as including Mia, Essence, Urban Latino and Latin Girl, LA Splash Magazine, MP News, and Chaos.Dee continued in 1996 her Styling career in Television which she styled for several television shows such as Fashion Emergency , America's Next Top Model, Black Enterprises ,Today Show and Fox T.V for the Mike & Juliet Show.After her career in Fashion, Ms. Rivera decided to go into Beauty and landed at Clarin's USA to launch the makeup brand for Thierry Mugler at Saks Fifth Avenue .Currently, Ms. Rivera started her own brands such as Shop Addicts, ICollections, Latinista Fashion Week and is the CEO of Dee & Co Group a pr, marketing and branding company.She has been traveling as a motivational speaker empowering women and coaching them in their careers.Dee's expertise and extensive contacts has lead her to train other artist to reach their professional goals.
