Led by a team of rural entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders, Startup Colorado works throughout the Western Slope and Eastern Plains, developing strategies and supporting initiatives that benefit Colorado's rural entrepreneurs' long-term resources and success.Key Accomplishments:● Built a self-sustaining, statewide network or "entrepreneurial ecosystem" of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial communities that connects rural founders to resources for education, growth, and expansion● Established statewide partnerships across SBDC offices, Economic Development Corporations, Universities, and complementary organizations to further cohesive resources and business opportunities across rural Colorado● Facilitated rural community strategies that support local entrepreneurs with tools, assets, and educational opportunities● Identified and design gap programming to support startups and nascent ideas
