CurrentThe Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a not for profit charity initiative. It is a mixture of men, motorbikes and dapper style. A day where all men are distinguished worldwide, riding classicstyled motorbikes. It is a day of spreading merriment as well as working together to support the health of men. This is done through awareness and fundraising programs. In 2012 it was hosted in 64 cities worldwide with 2500 participants. In 2013 is hosted 145 rides across 38 countries with over 7000 participants. The event raised $275,000 in its first year as a charitable event. The money was raised on behalf of the PCFA for worldwide medical research into prostate cancer.In 2014 the event was held in 258 Cities across 57 Countries and raised $1.7m supporting The Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia, UK, USA, Canada and New Zealand.In 2015 the event was held in 410 Cities Across 79 Countries and raised $3.3m (AUD). In 2016, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride continued to grow with a reach of 1b people. The event took place in 510 cities across 91 countries and raised AUD$5m for our new charity partner the Movember Foundation. In 2017, DGR had a reach of 2 Billion people. The event grew to 585 Cities across 93 Countries and had close to 100,000 Riders! The event raised USD$4.95m and continued to generate a huge amount of media presence in all key regions. In 2018 we surpassed our goal of $6m bringing in a total of USD$6.1m. 642 Riders, 125,000riders and 102 countries making it our biggest year to date! In 2019 we raised another $6m and grew to over 700 cities! 2020, brought us a pandemic, we adapted to the event to suit solo riding and raised $2.7m 8 months later we hosted DGR at it's new date in May 2021 and amazingly raised $4.1m bringing us to a total of $31.5m over 10 years!
