Im pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Technology at the University of Maryland. Alongside my academic coursework, I'm also working towards earning my AWS certificate. This dual focus is allowing me to build a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of cybersecurity while gaining valuable skills in cloud computing. Balancing these responsibilities is challenging but rewarding, and I'm excited about the opportunities that both the degree and certification will open up in the field of cybersecurity.I have several years of experience as an Aircraft Corrosion Technician in the Navy. In this role, I was responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing corrosion damage on military aircraft. My duties included applying protective coatings, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all work met strict military standards. This experience honed my skills in attention to detail, technical problem-solving, and adherence to safety protocols. Working on a variety of aircraft platforms, I developed a deep understanding of corrosion control processes and the importance of maintaining aircraft.
