Devon graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Philosophy and Theology from Oxford University, where she placed in the top 3 students in her academic year. She has been working in student-facing roles for 10 years, as a teacher, tutor or admissions consultant.Before her current position at Crimson Education, Devon worked as an academic tutor, specialising in a range of subjects, from Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Education, to English and Theatre Studies. During her teaching career, Devon has helped students excel in their GCSE and A-Level examinations, as well as helping younger students in both primary and secondary education.During her studies at Oxford, Devon specialised in Philosophy of Religion, Psychology of Religion and Hinduism. She has since helped many students achieve offers from their first choice universities (including Oxford and Harvard), with 100% of her students receiving offers from at least one of their top five university choices. Devon has supported students with many aspects of university applications, from conducting practice interviews and providing feedback on personal statements, to admissions testing and submitted work. She believes that the key to a successful application is a combination of strong academic performance, expansive strategic thinking, and hard work. In addition to her experience in the education sector, Devon has also worked in the film and music industries, most notably for Netflix, Working Title and Universal Music. From the ages of 11 to 16 years old, Devon competed in showjumping for the England equestrian team, whilst balancing a challenging education at a leading secondary school and working to achieve 10 A*s in her public examinations. Over the past 10 years, she has coached horse riding students to win championships at national level. With a history of supporting students to success and a strong track record of excellence, Devon strives to help each of her students increase their ambition and confidence to achieve their best results.
