I am privileged to lead the initiatives that empower smallholder coffee farmers while safeguarding the environment. Through the BBS Initiative Project, we collaborate with farmers in the buffer zone of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, covering nearly 1,100 hectares of coffee-dominated landscapes. This project employs a community-based conservation approach, using Analog Forestry to restore ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, and support sustainable livelihoods by integrating conservation principles into agricultural practices that boost productivity and protect vital ecosystems.

Projects:• Investigating the diversity and role of ants, birds, and bats for ecosystem functions across land-use systems through observational and experimental studies.• Indonesian Bird Trade Surveys.
