• Through a mix of legal and policy roles since 2013, I advise U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) officials on many aspects of the US government’s public health mission, including emergency preparedness and response; quality and security of the pharmaceutical drug supply; and cross-cutting policy issues like the use of artificial intelligence.• My interests in public policy and the life sciences industry were fostered at premier DC consulting firms and non-profits prior to law school. I researched and helped clients and Congressional staff understand trends in evidence-based medicine, value-based payment arrangements, and commercial strategy for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. • I work on a number of initiatives with the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA), the leading venue for advancing the role of South Asian Americans in the legal profession. I have held leadership roles with both SABA-DC and SABA North America since 2014, leading website redesign and strategic communication at both organizations and helping drive membership and programming growth. As a 2022 Fellow with SABA’s Leadership Institute, I gained skills to advance my professional development.
