I am a Product Manager serving our consumer market at PayGround, for both our mobile and web apps. I have spent over 16+ years in technology with various UI/UX, development, product, and leadership roles in multiple business verticals. I have a passion for the consumer, making sure that their voice is heard throughout the journey of a product.Prior to coming to PayGround, I led teams at firms: Bigfish Creative Group and Sandoval Marketing & Design. I believe in leading with consumer empathy and understanding of the problem, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX, so that solutions are simple and enjoyable, leading to consumer adoption and stickiness. When I'm not focused on the customer, I am focused on my family. My wife and I have 6 children ranging in age from 15 to 30 yrs old, which have kept us busy over the years. I love that we are in more of a mentoring stage in their lives.One of my main passions outside of work is running. I solve many of my day-to-day problems by spending hours out on the trails of the Arizona desert each weekend. I have participated in several 50k ultra trail races as well as a few 24+ hour obstacle course races. Those skills of drive and discipline that I use in running play very well in my business life as well.
