As Finance Manager at BRIT Awards, I combine my passion for the music industry with my expertise in production accounting, accounts production, business process improvement, and financial reporting. I have been working on the annual showcase for the UK music industry since 2015, managing the budget, cash flow, cost managers and reconciliation for the event that celebrates and promotes the best of British talent.In addition to my role at BRIT Awards, I am also the Finance Manager for the Mercury Prize, the prestigious award that recognises artistic achievement across a range of contemporary music genres. I have been involved in the planning and execution of the show since 2016, ensuring the financial viability and compliance of the project. I also work on a project by project basis as a freelance finance consultant with the film, television and music industries.Furthermore, I am the co-founder and Managing Director of Phoenix Films, a production company that produces original content, including our award-winning short film 'Panic'. Through these ventures, I pursue my creative vision and demonstrate my versatility in the film and television industry.
