-Operate 2-3 CNC machines simultaneously-Operate CMM and contracers to ensure quality

-Liaison for GTI Production, design and injection mold vendors- Perform and record design reviews on injection molds- Give approval to injection mold vendors to move forward from Design thru build, texture andtrial phases as well as final approval-Negotiate, create and maintain injection mold build schedules and implementation-Work with Production team to schedule new model trials-Attend Joint Check meetings with customer to decide part and tooling direction- Over 1000hrs of Catia V5 and Enovia (Data review)

-Troubleshooting and analysis of tools to improve quality and cycle time- Knowledgeable of various hot runner systems, including valve gate systems, diagnostics andrepairs- Repair parting lines-Skilled in TIG (tool, steel and aluminum), MIG, paste, and spark-depo welding-Skilled with lathe, surface grinder, milling machines, spotting press and CNC milling machine(prototrak)

-Supervise and support 5 mold maintenance technicians-Interview, hire, evaluate, discipline and terminate mold maintenance technicians-Schedule OT to meet production requirements-Maintenance and repair of 300 production tools, 500 service tools and all tool room equipment-Implementation of PM programs for all tools-Troubleshooting and analysis of tools to improve quality and cycle time-Contact and receive quotes from tool shops and schedule repairs or engineering changes thatcannot be done at facility in order to meet production requirements-Directly work with design to build new tools- Directly work with production to decrease scrap and increase quantity and quality of production- Purchase new equipment in a cost effective manner-Verify, check and accept molds-Check fixtures-Purchase all spare mold parts-Maintain die drawing library-Familiar with spreadsheets and data entry-Knowledgeable of various hot runner systems, including valve gate systems, diagnostics andrepairs-Repair parting lines-Skilled in TIG (tool, steel and aluminum), MIG, paste, and spark-depo welding-Skilled with lathe, surface grinder, milling machines, spotting press and CNC milling machine(prototrak)-Understand and comply with safety requirements of position
