I am really proud to lead our teams based at NFU Mutual Ashford, Tenterden and Whitfield Agencies – we are one of over 300 Agencies across the UK. I’ve been here since 2017 and am particularly passionate about getting to know local businesses, the grass roots behind how they came to be, and the people behind the scenes who make it work.I also represent the National Farmers Union (NFU) and our members as Group Secretary for the Battle & Rye, Tenterden & Romney Marsh, Biddenden, Swingfield & Elham, Ash, Thanet and Ashford branches of the NFU. The National Farmers Union (NFU) is here to give you a voice and protect your way of life now and in the future, our purpose is to champion British agriculture and horticulture, to campaign for a stable and sustainable future for British farmers. I am pleased to support a number of other organisations. I am a Governor for Plumpton College, director for RAMSAK and Vice-President for Sussex Young Farmers’ Clubs. In the past I was also a Trustee for the South of England Agricultural Society and Grey Court School Farm. I am also past National Agriculture and Rural Affairs chairman for young farmers. Prior to moving into insurance I worked for 15 years as a business consultant specialising in farms and food businesses but also covering tourism, diversification and risk management. I have worked for multi-national and national firms as well as setting up my own small consultancy.
