About Catarina Fernandes

Throughout my career, I have successfully developed and implemented programs and delivered projects that bring together individuals from various teams and institutions to pursue common objectives. My experience has enabled me to create cohesive and dependable teams at multiple levels, including students, technologists, and leadership, as well as collaborating with universities, government entities, corporate sponsors, clients, and volunteers. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my roles has been the ability to identify individuals' strengths and needs, fostering a collaborative environment built on trust. In many instances, I was the first to hold the position for which I was hired, which required me to establish the vision and strategy necessary to implement new programs across different settings, such as academia, ED&I, and technology.I thrive on intellectual challenges and continuous learning, finding it most rewarding to contribute to innovative projects, particularly those involving the application of advanced technologies to address critical issues. This includes specific client cases as well as broader initiatives related to Energy, Sustainability, and achieving Net Zero goals.
