I help maintain the operations aspect of Sykes Student Union and try to focus on the technology side of things. I update all technological items in the building or buy new items that would help the students achieve their goals.

Student Directors are the "RA's" of the student union, but with more work, and more fun! They make sure the rooms are set up for meetings, make sure the AV is set, and also make sure everyone abides by the Ram's-Eye-View. The job IS the reason why I am persuing the Student Affairs field.

I worked at Killinger Hall, Ramsey Hall and the South Campus Apartments as a Desk Assistant. I answered the phone, took messages for my bosses, organized different things and maintained tasks like cleaning/repairing the desk computer and help develop a movie rental system for students.

I was a Resident Assistant for the South Campus appartments for one year. I looked over 44 students in a living area and made sure that the campus rules were being followed and that they were notifyied of important announcements through the university of through my supervisor.

I worked as a Produce Clerk while i was in high school and for the summers while i was in college. I mostly worked the night shift, which taught me responsibility since i was on my own in the department and it taught me the ability to think ahead since the workers in the morning after would pick up where i left off.

I worked/trained to make pizzas, deli items, and cook on the grill. I was also taught the standard food prep and safety.
