The Data Services team manages the inflow of data from outside sources into our servers, as well as handling updates to the data streams (new and modified source), customer service issues that are caused by inaccurate data, etc.

Managed the creation of the new ISP Division, including setting up and maintaining authentication, e-mail, file andweb servers, and remote access dial-in pools and routers. Designed the 100 node network encompassing theseservers, routers and workstations. Created the end user documentation for setting up their computers to accessthe internet. Provided technical support for end users.Key Projects and Accomplishments· Developed web sites for online presence and for clients.· Configured client colocated servers with Apache/PHP/MySQL with failover to slave servers.· Developed monitoring scripts on UNIX systems to keep track of server resources and notify if issue arise.· Planned and built web servers for end use by clients, based on Apple Macintosh Computers and StarNine WebSTAR server software.· Configured SUN Solaris servers for authenticating 3000+ remote access (dial-up) clients.· Configured over 80 Ascend, Cisco, Livingston and Lucent routers and remote access servers for use by dial-up and dedicated clients, for analog, isdn and dsl connections.· Designed and maintained a 100+ node network of servers, RAS routers, workstations.· Maintained co-located servers for several clients.· Configured and maintained several Linux servers for use as web servers using Apache and PHP software, and as mail filtering servers.· Developed written documentation for clients to configure their computers for connections and email, as well as internal documentation for managing our servers.· Provided clients with phone and in person support.

Developed commercial software in a team environment. Worked as a consultant developing software for severalclients in Pascal, Object Pascal and C++, as well as 4th Dimension and HyperCard.Key Projects and Accomplishments· Worked on GUI and low level coding of our commercial database product Retriever II.· Developed database software using ACIUS 4th Dimension for several clients.· Developed e-mail and product tracking software using Apple's HyperCard.· Developed After Dark screen savers.
