Background: Ticket Network is a secondary ticket market software shop which sells both web services and POS software connected to a massive database aggregating inventory from distributed clients.I began early on writing a credit card transaction module for the first version of their POS software (Windows Forms software written in .NET C#) helping enable the initial main launch of the software.Afterward I switched to owning front-end development of their primary online ecommerce property https://www.ticketliquidator.com/ . I wrote core front-end and middle tier functionality in C# / ASP.NET. Large emphasis was placed on speed optimization, SEO, best practice design patterns, unit tests. Over time I integrated Google search appliance, and memcache servers as the site grew to 4M unique visits / month. I presented internal classes and mentored junior devs.

Background: Tallan was one of the original big dev shops in early dotcom days and placed teams that worked on original incarnations of Book.com (Barnes & Noble) and Priceline.com. I worked internally supporting the business side.I began in a sysadmin capacity (Sun Solarix, Linux, Exchange) both managing servers as well as writing glue-code in Perl and Bash. Over time I gradually switched to internal services development. My team wrote and maintained our internal timesheet / billing system code in Java / JSPs against an Oracle backend.
